My name is Wumi and I'm a multi award winning beauty entrepreneur, living in Greater London, United Kingdom. I’m wife and mum
of two lovely boys who are different as chalk and cheese. Bless them!
For many years, I worked in an office environment starting
out my career with a small publishing firm as an advertising and administrative
assistant. A couple of years later, I moved into the UK Public Sector where I
worked in various roles. With a graduate diploma in Advertising
and a long work history, training in
health and beauty in mid life, was not what I had imagined. My
creator had something beautiful in store for me. He wanted me to embrace
my creative calling!
As far as I can remember, I have always had a deep love of
aesthetics and things that were creatively made. This deep love for aesthetics
was rekindled through my journey back into direct sales. I simply adore and
appreciate beautiful things such as creative gifts, home decor, interior design, aromatherapy and floristry. Indeed, when I see a lovely floral piece, my heart truly
does skip a bit! It’s like falling in love all over again.
Apart from my interest in beauty and well-being, I also have
a fascination for writing and a deep love of personal development. I'm a keen
learner and sometimes I can be very curious. Occasionally, with me
"curiosity can kill the cat" but satisfaction does bring me back.
Yeah!
Wumi Oyewole Inspired is a fusion of my love of beauty,
well-being, creativity, personal brilliance and entrepreneurship. Particularly, I fuse my love of beauty with my love of personal development using beauty as a tool to build up a woman's self-esteem and self-image. I have used the word ‘inspired’ because people have mentioned that I was
inspirational after they’ve heard me speak! So when I’m not providing
solution-centred skincare or complementary treatments to my clients, you will
find me either writing, attending a webinar or speaking at an engagement with
passion, sincerity and heart!
Above all, I am a follower of Jesus and I currently worship
at City Gates Church. God is
the essence of my life and he really means a lot to me. Without Him, I am nothing.
Lastly, as Elsie De Wolfe said, “I am going to make
everything around me beautiful. That will be my life.”
