When I joined the beauty industry and decided to train as a professional, I didn't realise that I would be able to combine my love of beauty with my interest in personal development. But that was because I was blind to see the wonderful sweet spot that existed between beauty and personal development. I temporarily forgot that I had a dream.

Truth be told, beauty and personal development have a lot of things in common when you look beyond the surface. How? Beauty and personal development can be used as tools to develop or help build up an individual's confidence, self-esteem and their self-worth. This thought me a great lesson. We need to learn to look beyond the surface to see the bigger picture to the things we do in life!
